Mayonnaise is a great condiment to use in many different recipes, and when you start the paleo diet lifestyle you think it along with so many other condiments have to be given up. This is not the case, I am going to show you that it is easy to create your very own homemade condiments and sauces with paleo diet friendly ingredients that will keep you on track.
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp coarse sea salt
2 dash hot sauce
1 cup olive oil
- Place egg yolks, lemon juice, dry mustard, sea salt, hot sauce in a bowl, mix with electric mixer on low.
- Slowly add olive oil until no more will blend in. The consistency will look very similar to pudding.
- Put left over olive oil back and place mayonnaise in jar for storing.
