This is a perfect basic paleo tomato sauce for such things as homemade pizzas, stuffed peppers, and a many wonderful other recipes that require the very basic of tomato sauces. When deciding what type of paleo tomato sauce recipe to use for certain meal recipes, it is best to know how much texture you need for said recipe. For instance this recipe is the perfect one for pizza, where as, this paleo tomato sauce┬áis better suited for spaghetti’s and lasgana’s, even stuffed peppers for the added vegetables.


6-7 ounces of tomato paste
4 oz (1/2 cup) crushed tomatoes, strained
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
sea salt, to taste


  1. Mix together strained crushed tomatoes, tomato paste in a bowl until complete combined.
  2. Next add dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder. Mix until full combine. Taste and season with sea salt to suite your personal taste.
  3. Store in an air tight container for 3-5 days in the refrigerator.
