There are a lot of foods that whipped cream is fantastic on; waffles, hot coco, smoothies/milkshakes, desserts, the list could go on. This three ingredient coconut milk paleo whipped cream is absolutely delicious, sweetened to perfection with a bit of honey or maple syrup and a hint of vanilla. Now with this paleo whipped cream it is best to use right away for the best taste and flavour, if you have left over it does not store well in the refrigerator as it does start to separate.
2 cans (15.33 ounces each) coconut milk, refrigerated
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey, raw, pure, and natural
1 tsp vanilla extract
- Open coconut milk cans and set aside the liquid half while scooping out the thick white fatter part into your mixing bowl.
- Using an electric mixer, mix your coconut cream on high. Once cream is breaking down add maple syrup and vanilla.
- Mix until consistency matches that of whipped cream. About 10 minutes and holds a firm peek.
- Serve immediately for best results.
