It is not as hard as you would think to make wonderfully tasting Italian seasoned bread crumbs paleo. The key ingredient is the is using almond flour or almond meal. Personally I prefer to use almond meal, as it is more affordable and is coarsely ground with the skin left on. Almond flour is finely ground and have the skins removed. Such a subtle difference, yet, important for certain recipes. For this Italian Seasoned Paleo Bread Crumbs recipe using almond meal helps you achieve a better texture for things such as breaded meats and crumbly, crunchy toppings for things like casseroles and certain desserts that require a delicious crust top.


 

Ingredients:
1 cup almond meal/flour
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl with a mini-whisk or fork until thoroughly combined. Can be used immediately or store in an airtight container.
