Delicious and refreshing paleo fruity coleslaw, that is sure to be a crowd pleaser at any family or friendly gathering. The fruit that was used in this recipe are just the few that were on hand, when making this Paleo Fruity Coleslaw. Feel free to use which ever fruits that you personally enjoy.
1 head green cabbage, rinsed and sliced very thinly
1 large carrot, shredded
2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup mandarin oranges, chopped
1 cup red grapes, chopped
1/4 cup homemade mayonnaise
1 apple, of your choice, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
1/2 cup dried cranberries, no sugar added
Dash of poppyseeds
- In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients together. Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
