If you are in the mood for something sweet but do not have anything on hand or have the time to bake something. Here is a perfect option Salted Caramel Paleo Milkshake. In this recipe below I have used almond milk as I personally prefer it over any other type, you can substitute for coconut milk you prefer. Just a tip in case you do not have cashew butter on hand, soak 1/4 cup of cashews in water preferably over night but minimum 6 hours. That amount is specifically for this recipe only. Also the paleo caramel sauce says 1/2 to 1 tsp as I like it really sweet so I use 1 tsp, so depending on how sweet your taste is after blending all the ingredients together excluding the paleo caramel sauce, taste and adjust to your sweetness level a bit at a time and pulsing just to incorporate.


 

Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond milk, paleo and cold
1 1/2 tsp cashew butter
1/2 banana
1 dried Medjool dates, pitted
A pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/2 – 1 tsp paleo caramel sauce

Optional:
Coconut Milk Paleo Whipped Cream
Paleo Chocolate Sauce or Paleo Caramel Sauce

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in to a blender, process all ingredients until smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Top with coconut milk whipped cream drizzle of paleo caramel or chocolate sauce .
